Shreebond IBU-662 – Isobutylated Urea Formaldehyde Resin for Flexible, High-Performance Coatings

Shreebond IBU-662 – Isobutylated Urea Formaldehyde Resin for Flexible, High-Performance Coatings

SHREEBOND IBU-662 is a flexible isobutylated urea formaldehyde resin developed for use in thermosetting coating systems where film flexibility, durability, and chemical resistance are required. It’s especially suitable for coil coatings, metal packaging, drum linings, and protective primers.

With its modified isobutylated backbone, IBU-662 provides a softer, more elastic film than standard urea resins, without compromising crosslinking efficiency or final film hardness. Ideal for substrates that experience bending, forming, or impact.
