SHREEBOND IBU-1051 is a high-performance isobutylated urea formaldehyde resin designed as a fast-reacting crosslinker for thermosetting coatings. It offers excellent hardness, chemical resistance, and film clarity, making it ideal for use in can coatings, coil coatings, metal primers, and industrial finishes.

Thanks to its isobutylated structure, IBU-1051 offers improved film toughness, low formaldehyde emissions, and better stability compared to standard urea resins.

  • Non-Volatile Content: 55 ± 2%

  • Viscosity @ 25°C: 200–500 cps

  • Free Formaldehyde: ≤0.5%

  • Specific Gravity @ 25°C: ~1.08–1.10 g/cm³

  • Solubility: Soluble in alcohols, ketones, esters, aromatics

  • Shelf Life: 12 months when stored in sealed packaging at room temperature
