SHREEBOND BU-1050 is a butylated urea formaldehyde resin tailored for thermosetting systems that require fast cure, high gloss, and durable film performance. Its formulation supports low bake temperatures, low VOC targets, and excellent compatibility with alkyds, acrylics, and saturated polyesters.

This resin is an ideal fit for coil coatings, can interiors, metal primers, and general industrial applications where a smooth finish and long-lasting protection are non-negotiable.

  • Appearance: Clear to pale yellow liquid

  • Non-Volatile Content: 58 ± 2%

  • Viscosity @ 25°C: 250–500 cps

  • Free Formaldehyde: ≤0.8%

  • Specific Gravity @ 25°C: ~1.09–1.11 g/cm³

  • Solubility: Soluble in alcohols, esters, ketones, aromatics

  • Shelf Life: 12 months in sealed container at ambient temperature
