SHREEBOND BM-268 is a medium-reactive butylated melamine formaldehyde resin designed for thermosetting coating systems where excellent flow, surface smoothness, and film hardness are required. It offers balanced performance in coil coatings, wood finishes, appliance coatings, and general industrial paints.

BM-268 enhances surface properties like gloss, mar resistance, and durability, making it an ideal crosslinker in both clear and pigmented systems.

  • Non-Volatile Content: 58 ± 2%

  • Viscosity @ 25°C: 250–500 cps

  • Free Formaldehyde: ≤1.0%

  • Solubility: Soluble in alcohols, esters, ketones, and aromatics
